Schwing-Stetter, a German multinational company of concrete and mortar equipment, is expanding the use of SAP management system modules in its Brazilian subsidiary, in a project with Focus IT consulting.
Until now, the local operation used the most basic SAP modules deployed in a global roll out, such as materials management, production planning, sales, financial and profit center control, among others.
The project now includes a series of new modules focused on production, including capacity and material requirements planning, as well as factory floor and quality control, all with the aim of increasing the predictability of its production capacity.
"Today, without these customizations, we use spreadsheets and the process becomes more time-consuming to visualize and deliver information. In a scenario of growth like this one, we need to be ahead and anticipate the data to meet the market's needs", explains Anderson Evencio, Information Technology Manager at Schwing-Stetter Brasil.
The equipment manufacturer also has a contract for application management services (AMS) with Focus IT, which supports Schwing-Stetter's national operation as an IT arm for SAP demands.
The consultancy also supports the industry's fiscal issues through its solutions, which are integrated with SAP.
